Emergency Rescue

Application of SDRs in Emergency Rescue Command and Dispatch
Upon arriving at the disaster site, rescue teams can quickly carry handheld SDRs or manpack SDRs with built-in lithium batteries and emergency deployment nodes deep into the affected area. Unconstrained by power supply limitations, these SDRs can be flexibly deployed according to the on-site environment and networking requirements, ensuring the rapid establishment of a dedicated emergency wireless broadband network. This effectively addresses communication failures caused by damaged power and base station infrastructure, as well as the inability to deploy other communication systems, helping to bridge the"last mile" of wireless broadband access.

Frontline rescue personnel within the disaster zone transmit on-site collected HD video information back to the command vehicle via ground-based multi-hop relays or UAV-mounted SDRs. This enables off-site commanders to intuitively grasp the actual situation within the golden rescue window, formulate appropriate plans, and conduct scientific rescue analysis. Simultaneously, leveraging the aerial advantage of UAV-mounted SDRs enables large-scale real-time detection and monitoring of the disaster area, disaster data transmission, and hazardous gas detection.

Utilizing the on-site MESH wireless multi-hop broadband network, integrated with various heterogeneous dedicated cluster networks, further expands network coverage. This meets the needs for voice communication between underground and ground levels, deep inside buildings and the external site, and in obstructed conditions. It facilitates the timely issuance of rescue commands by on-site commanders and efficient coordination among rescue team members. Furthermore, the system can interconnect with satellite equipment on rescue vehicles, enabling real-time information exchange between the front and rear for unified command and dispatch. Additionally, GPS can be used to locate all rescue vehicles and external personnel, displaying their real-time positions on the MESH wireless mesh network terminal software.
